The Festival of the Erotic Arts is a not-for-profit arts-focussed organisation. We do not receive funding from any ‘official’ source and remain independently run and staffed by volunteers. We make a sincere and open request for all applicants to the Festival to make a small donation to us to help with the significant costs incurred in the administration of the application procedure.
In 2013 we opted not to install mandatory application fees (£10 – £40 is the norm for open art calls) and hope that applicants choose to donate a small amount to us to help cover application admin costs and keep the Festival running.
In short, though our application fee is not manditory, a donation in its place is strongly suggested and hugely appreciated.
You may donate an amount of your choice via Pay Pal. We will shortly have donation rewards for event patrons and supporters, watch this space!
Please note that donations received will have ‘Itsy PR’ against them. Itsy are our event and web management team, this ensures no potentially embarrassing company names on your bank statement (though we know our artists fly the erotica flag proudly, banking officials can be all to easily embarrassed, on occasion).
