Crafts & Lifestyle

General Submission Guidelines:

• Artists may submit items such as books, jewellery, screen prints, collectibles, fashion items/accessories, etc. for consideration to our craft and lifestyle fair.

• Applications are also open to lifestyle retailers, erotic booksellers, lingerie and fetish clothing designers.

• Acceptance will result in the offer of a stall at the event craft fair – which will attract a small stall holder fee payable by the stall holder to the Festival (discounts will be offered to small and local business owners + artists registered to take part in other parts of the festival).

• Fashion retailers with appropriate items may also be invited to join the event’s full-scale fashion show.

• There is no fee for submitting crafts for consideration. Craft-makers will be informed of the outcome of their application on or before the 5th of April 2013.

We kindly request a voluntary donation of £4 from all artists and artisans applying to take part in this not-for-profit event. If opting to make a donation please do so via the secure PayPal button link below.

Terms & Conditions – general rules for craft applications

All work submitted for consideration must be conceived and executed by the craftmaker and completed after 2003, i.e. no more than 10 years old.

Crafts will not be accepted where they are forbidden by, or require additional licencing according to, local bylaws.

We highly recommend craft makers attend the exhibition in person to sell their crafts personally and set up their stall. Where this is not possible we will negotiate alternative arrangements with the artist which are mutually agreeable.

FEA and the exhibition galleries reserve the right to accept or reject any piece for inclusion in the show.

Event organisers reserve the right to refuse to exhibit any work it deems unacceptable due to poor craftsmanship, presentation or significant departure from the original accepted entry.

The Festival of the Erotic Arts craft and lifestyle fair will take place on the 15th of June at the Picture House venue in Edinburgh.
